⚠️ Adapter vs Converter: Know the Difference!
Plug Adapter: Only changes plug shape. Does NOT convert voltage.
Voltage Converter: Changes 220V to 110V (or vice versa).
When Do You Need an Adapter?
- Your device plug doesn't fit the wall outlet
- Traveling to a country with different plug types
When Do You Need a Converter?
- Your device is single-voltage (e.g., "110V only")
- Traveling from 110V country to 220V country (or vice versa)
- Using high-power devices like hair dryers, straighteners

Smartphones, laptops, tablets, camera chargers, electric shavers. Check the label: if it says "100-240V", you only need a plug adapter.
